History

2001 / 2003

Scorch was founded at Silvester 00/01 by Dani (bass and vocals) and Raphi (guitar and vocals). In Spring 2001 they start with playing and compose their first songs. To complete the band, they searched a drummer and a singer. Some useless singers and drummers later, Dani decide to take over the vocals as well. But there was still no drummer on the horizone.

2004 / 2005

In 2004 the band was finally complete. Martin take over the drums. At the end of 2005, Scorch entered the 'Hellvete Studio' to record five songs. Scorch released in the year 2006 their first Demo, called "THE FIRST STRIKE".

2006 / 2007

Since 2006 Scorch performed several gigs and metal-festivals in Switzerland. The sound becomes more brutal, various and complex. In 2007 Raphi starts also with inhale vocals.

2007 / 2008

Martin left the band in autumn 2007. But Scorch found a new drummer in the person of Gregor "Schorsch" Gut (former RELLIK) very soon, as well as Roman Hauser (former RELLIK) for double sick guitar sound. With Schorsch at the drums starts for Scorch a new age full of brutality, speed and sickness! Scorch will record a new Album as soon as possible. But for the moment, Scorch is looking for some shows and many beers!

2008 / 2009

Many beers and several concerts later, preparations for recordings are done. Recording sessions followed.

2010 / 2011

Mixing and mastering of the new album were made, which was released in January 11. Now Scorch is rocking on...
